It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our friend, colleague, and employee Mr. Rick Bourgette. Rick's long battle with cancer last Saturday morning. Ricks passion for life and competitive spirit was an inspiration to all that knew him. I sincerely hope that heaven is ready for him.
He will be missed greatly.

Everett Steel’s employee dependents have been eligible to apply for the annual Molly Hightower scholarship award, named after the young woman who died while working at an orphanage in Haiti during the 2010 earthquake. This $2,000.00 scholarship is awarded annually for the applicant who best exemplifies the spirit of volunteer service on a local or national basis and giving hope to others. The award winners for 2014 have been announced and I am very pleased that one of this year’s winners is Eric Murray the son of Anna Murray. We are very proud of Eric and congratulate him for this outstanding achievement. I also would like to congratulate both Anna and Brian Murray for raising such an exemplary young man.
We will notify all employee’s when the MSCI begins taking applications for the 2015 award. This is a fantastic opportunity offered to member companies in the MSCI. This award has was named after Molly Hightower the daughter of the General Manager of a Washington chapter member.

We recently purchased a Mitsubishi 3015eX 5th generation CO2 laser with automated pallet changer. This will provide us the capability to provide accurate laser cut parts for you – our customer!
Housed in our Everett location we will be able to provide laser cutting for all of our locations: Everett, Woodinville and Seattle. With our fleet of delivery trucks we deliver material daily to each of our branch locations for our customers’ will call orders as well as delivery to customer locations as needed.
Laser cutting is a specialized job. The expert Burning Operators and Programmers at Everett Steel have undergone special training to provide them with the knowledge and skills needed to provide you with precision laser cutting. We utilize sophisticated nesting and CAD software to provide clean smooth edges and extreme accuracy while minimizing scheduling time.

Everett Steel is now stocking pre-cut circles, squares and gussets in all of our three retail locations. Circles from 4” up to 16”; squares from 4” up to 16”; and gussets from 4” up to 8” – all in varying thicknesses.
Everett Steel is now selling non-slip floor plate. This floor plate provides high traction safety in any environment. It is currently available in 5/16", 3/8" and 1/2" thickness. Please call for more information.

We also stock cut Steel Plate 3/16" and 1/4" thick and Steel Sheet in 11GA and 16GA. The sizes for our pre-cut Sheet and Plate are 1' x 4', 2' x 2', 2' x 4' and 4' x 4'.

Everett Steel has completed installation of a new MG Plasma Machine. This is the first MG machine on the West Coast to utilize the new Hypertherm HPR 260 torches. These torches combine the quality of hi-definition plasma cutting with performance of hi-speed plasma.
This machine is 12' x 84' and has two of the HPR 260's on board.
